The weather in The Lake District of Malaga is pleasant
and very sunny - often with a chilling wind. Unlike many
other places inland it is temperate because of the lakes,
which hold the warmth in winter and cools down in the
summer.
The winter is nice and mild with day
temperatures around 17-19 degrees - but cold at night.
There are often 1-3 weeks in a row with lots of sun, so
you can sun bathe, but there are also periods of wind,
showers and overcast.
Spring
and autumn are really beautiful in The Lake District. It
is nicely warm, very green and with plenty of wild
flowers in the surroundings. You can easily swim in the
lake right up to November, because it keeps warm from the
summer. The weather can be somewhat volatile.
The summer is obviously very hot but
fortunately not as much as in many other parts of
Andalusia because of the frequent winds, and because of
the chilling effect of the lake.
